Welsh Surf Federation holds ISA judging course in Porthcawl
The Welsh Surfing Federation (WSF) held a successful International Surfing Association (ISA) judging and officiating course at Porthcawl’s YMCA over the weekend.
All course candidates satisfied the examination criteria of the one-day programme, delivered by WSF Technical Director, Craig Burrows.
The candidates can now begin shadowing judging procedures at WSF events as part of development towards becoming an official scoring judge at WSF competitions held in Wales, in disciplines including: surfing (shortboard and longboard), bodyboarding, and SUP.
Craig Burrows, said:
"We had eight attendees at today’s course. Each were successful in passing, and I look forward to working with them in future."
"The WSF has a big year in store, hosting the Wilkinson Sword at Langland Bay, the Welsh Nationals, and the British Nationals," Craig added.
