The Welsh is ON!
The PuraVida MiPost Welsh National Surfing Championships is on and will take place this weekend, the 23 and 24 November.
With storm Bert forecast to blast the Welsh coastline this Saturday and Sunday, the adult categories of the PuraVida MiPost Welsh Nationals have been reduced to enable competition to take place around the wind (and rain). Categories running this weekend are as follows:
- women's open and longboard
- men's open, longboard, 35+, 40+, and bodyboard.
Current forecasts suggest Llantwit won’t bear the brunt of Bert and we look forward to concluding the competition season for 2024.
Check in will be 9am Saturday morning.
The draw and running order will be made available at the nearest opportunity and posted on our website.
All event info can be found here. The WSF wish those travelling to Llantwit safe journeys.
Categories NOT RUNNING include:
- women's SUP, 35+ and bodyboard
- men's SUP and 50+
