Welsh Surfers Ready to Take on the WSL Pro Taghazout Bay

The 2025 World Surf League Pro Taghazout Bay Qualifying Series 3,000 kicks off tomorrow at Anchor Point, Morocco.

Running Feb 22 to March 1, this highly anticipated event not only provides a platform for European and African surfers to battle for a place on the Challenger Series but also sees strong Welsh representation.

Four Cymru surfers are in the line-up, each aiming to enhance their standing on the international stage. In the Men's division, Elliot Barton (LBR) starts his campaign tomorrow morning in Round 1, Heat 5. Pembs shredder Seth Morris (PCS) enters the fray in Round 2 Heat 14, while Patrick Langdon-Dark (LBR) paddles out in Round 3 Heat 11. In the Women's event, Alys Barton's comp gets underway in Round 2, Heat 4.

Fresh from GB training in Australia, Alys and Pat will be eager to showcase their skills on Morocco’s iconic point break.
