Welsh Nationals 2024 Postponed
The Welsh National Surfing Championships 2024 will not go ahead this weekend, the Welsh Surfing Federation can confirm.
"The Welsh" was pencilled in to take place this Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October, but the event will now not take place because of a clash with the GB Cup in Jersey which will be held on the same date.
Team Wales are committed to competing in the GB Cup; the Welsh Nationals comp has therefore been rescheduled to Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November.
The Welsh has been postponed a number of times through 2024 owing to unfavourable surfing conditions that were not suitable for competition surfing, so fingers crossed the autumn swells will deliver the goods this time around.
The WSF would like to thank everyone involved for their continued understanding and support.
